RFRP ‘23 Volunteers
Below, is a list of possible and vacant volunteer positions that would benefit our fundraiser, the Ride For Rally Point (RFRP) ‘23:
Driver - The Driver drives the Support Rig, but the Driver’s job is not only to “drive”. The Driver is the bulk of the support team, operationally speaking. The Driver is the one who sets up the cattle panels for Trooper in the afternoon and loads them back on the Support Rig in the morning. They may make the team’s coffee in the morning, and they’re often the one to prepare and track inventory of Trooper’s food, hay and water. The Driver is also able to be changed out. So, if you are not able to fill this position for the entire 2 months of the RFRP ‘23, no worries. You may be able to give another Driver a break for a few days, or more.
Host - For the purposes of RFRP, a “Host” is someone who hosts Trooper, Jeremy, and the Support Team along Trooper’s route. Do you live on or near Trooper’s route? Do you have land for us to park a trailer, set up some hammocks and Trooper’s pen to rest for the night? Do you even have a barn and/or paddocks? If the answers to any of those questions are “yes”, and you would like to host our Rider, horse, and team for a night during their journey, fill out the contact form below to let us know.
Event Host - “Events” may be food drives, meetings, rallies, trail rides, or even a parade through your town. The “Host” is a person, company, or government that provides a place or platform for that event. It’s really up to you what kind of host you want to be.
Social Media Specialist - Jeremy is going to have a lot on his plate with video production alone during the RFRP. With social media being the main avenue for video distribution, having someone - or even a few people - to help with the maintenance and engagement of social pages would be a huge help. If you think you are talented with social media, fill out the contact form below to let us know.
Organizer - This is the person who would organize local events. These events may potentially be anywhere in the world, or they may be right along the RFRP route. These could be almost anything you imagine once you apply and coordinate with us, but the Organizer’s job is to pull permits, advertise, recruit, and lead for their event. If you think taking our mission and making it your own is for you, fill out the contact form below to let us know.
